The UPS Store, Inc. Empowers the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs Through Partnership with Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans
The UPS Store has partnered with Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans (JA) to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for young people across Southeast Louisiana and South Mississippi. Through the Start Small, Grow Big program, The UPS Store fuels JA’s entrepreneurship pipeline by supporting flagship programs like the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge and JA StartUP. This partnership helps young innovators, from high school students to young adult entrepreneurs of necessity, gain hands-on experience in business planning, problem-solving, and venture creation, building the confidence and skills needed to launch and grow their own enterprises.
Over the past three years, The UPS Store has contributed more than $25,000 to support JA’s entrepreneurship programming. This year, The UPS Store is deepening its impact by launching a round-up-at-the-register campaign during the final months of 2025. Customers visiting participating UPS Store locations are invited to round up their purchases to support JA’s work with emerging young entrepreneurs.
“We are thrilled to demonstrate our dedication to both current and future small business owners in such a meaningful and impactful manner,” shared a representative of The UPS Store. “Through the Start Small, Grow Big program, we are proud to help young people build essential life and business skills that empower them to thrive in their personal and professional journeys.”
“We are deeply thankful to The UPS Store and their Start Small, Grow Big program for their transformative support,” shared Larry Washington, President of Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans. “This round-up campaign advances our mission and strengthens our efforts to assist young people who aspire to start their own businesses. With The UPS Store’s backing, we can provide young minds with the essential tools to succeed in an ever-changing entrepreneurial world.”
