Vice President of Impact
Organization: Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans

Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Position Summary
The Vice President of Impact is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans’ mission by ensuring high-quality, measurable, and scalable program impact. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Impact leads the Impact Team and partners closely with executive leadership to design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve JA’s programs, strategy, and growth.
This role ensures that JAGNO’s programming is outcomes-driven, aligned with community needs, responsive to data, and positioned to demonstrate value to funders, partners, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Impact
Partner with the President to develop and execute JAGNO’s programmatic and impact strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.
Lead organizational efforts to define, measure, and communicate program outcomes and long-term impact.
Use data and community insights to inform strategic decisions, program growth, and innovation.
Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership on impact, equity, and continuous improvement.
Program Design, Implementation & Growth
Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of JA programs across all grade levels and pathways.
Ensure program fidelity while supporting thoughtful adaptation and innovation to meet local needs.
Support program expansion and scaling efforts in partnership with the President and Development team.
Align programming with school systems, educators, and community partners to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Impact Measurement, Evaluation & Learning
Lead the development and execution of JAGNO’s impact measurement and evaluation framework, including outcomes, indicators, and data collection systems.
Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess effectiveness and guide improvement.
Produce clear, compelling impact reports for internal stakeholders, funders, board members, and partners.
Foster a culture of learning, reflection, and evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
Team Leadership & Management
Supervise, mentor, and develop the Impact Team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Set clear goals and performance expectations aligned with organizational priorities.
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Development, Operations, and external partners.
External Relationships & Representation
Represent JAGNO in community, education, and sector-wide conversations related to youth outcomes and workforce readiness.
Support funder and partner engagement by articulating program impact and outcomes.
Collaborate with JA USA and regional peers to align with national standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in education, public policy, nonprofit management, social sciences, or a related field preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in program leadership, impact measurement, or strategy within a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex programs or initiatives.
Strong background in data analysis, evaluation, and translating insights into action.
Proven ability to collaborate with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience in youth development, education, workforce readiness, or economic mobility initiatives.
Familiarity with collective impact, continuous improvement, or equity-centered evaluation frameworks.
Experience supporting fundraising or grant reporting through impact storytelling and data.

POSITION CONCEPT + PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Impact + Partnerships manages the expansion of JA programs in collaboration with the growing YouthForce NOLA Strategic Partnership. The position is the lead liaison to YouthForce NOLA staff and will work in conjunction with external partners to coordinate an annual Career Expo for high school freshmen. The position also directs all recruiting and training of business and industry professionals for all YouthForce NOLA + JA Employer Hub programs in Orleans Parish and assists in the recruitment and training of schools across YouthForce NOLA’s network of 26 high schools. The position is responsible for overall Employer Hub program management in adherence to models and quality maintenance, and works with the Employer Hub Program Manager in the communication and marketing of all Employer Hub + JA programming across all education, business, and school partners.
