Zachary Carroll

Dr. Zachary Carroll has been a veterinarian since 2012. After graduating, he completed a year-long rotating internship at MedVet, where he gained valuable experience in multiple specialties. In 2013, he joined Ark Animal Hospital, where he has had the privilege of helping transform it into a thriving, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic supported by an incredibly talented, compassionate team he is proud to lead.

Some of Dr. Carroll’s career highlights include completing his internship, serving as Medical Director at Ark Animal Hospital, and successfully incorporating the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to strengthen hospital operations. He is passionate about mentoring and teaching young veterinarians, helping them grow in both skill and confidence.

In the community, Dr. Carroll is an active member of St. Catherine of Siena’s Men’s Club, the school his children attend. He also enjoys working with Jamie and Metairie Humane to improve the lives of pets who have been abandoned or rescued from the streets.

Outside the clinic, you can often find him outdoors—whether it’s at a music festival, hiking, fishing, golfing, or spending time on the water. Above all, what inspires him most is helping pets and families enjoy the best quality of life possible, clearly explaining disease processes so owners feel empowered, and making memories with his amazing family.
