Who Will Be JA’s 1 Millionth Student?
This school year, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans will welcome a milestone 70 years in the making—our 1 millionth student served. Somewhere in our classrooms, career fairs, and capstone programs, that student is waiting to begin their JA journey.
Will it be a future entrepreneur from Edna Karr High School? A young innovator from West St. John High School? A problem-solver from Chalmette High? Or maybe a world-changer from Hynes-UNO?
We don’t know exactly who it will be—but we know they’ll be stepping into an experience that connects their dreams to real-world possibilities. And we know they won’t be walking that path alone.
As we prepare for this historic moment, we invite you—our volunteers, educators, alumni, and supporters—to help make this year the most impactful yet:
Give a little more. Every dollar you invest opens new doors for our students.
Volunteer a little more. Share your expertise and passion with a classroom or capstone program.
Tell us your JA story. Whether you were a JA student, teacher, or volunteer, we want to hear how JA shaped your journey.
And to our 1 millionth student—wherever you are—
we can’t wait to meet you, cheer you on, and watch you take flight!!!
