It’s Also Time to Grab Lunch, Snap a Pic, and Celebrate 70 Years of JA at Chick-fil-A!
For several weeks in October, twenty local Chick-fil-A restaurants across Southeast Louisiana have teamed up with Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans (JA) to celebrate a historic milestone: 70 years of empowering young people and the upcoming moment when JA will serve its 1 millionth student. The campaign will continue through the first week of November.
As part of the “70 Years, 1 Million Students” campaign, each participating Chick-fil-A store is displaying special JA signage inviting customers to share their own JA stories and join the celebration. The campaign seeks to reconnect JA alumni and highlight the organization’s lasting impact on students who have benefited from programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness since 1955.
“We’re thrilled to see our supporters, educators, students, alumni, and community partners snapping photos with the JA signs in Chick-fil-A stores across the region,” said Larry Washington, President of JA Greater New Orleans. “This campaign is about celebrating two incredible milestones — seven decades of impact and one million students served — and we’re so grateful to Chick-fil-A for helping us share this story with the community.”
The campaign is part of JA’s yearlong celebration culminating later this year when the organization officially reaches its one millionth student served. Chick-fil-A’s partnership helps spread the message that every young person deserves the opportunity to build a financially secure future.
