Boy Scouts Gain Real-World Financial Skills at JA Finance Park
On Saturday, September 13, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans was proud to welcome members of the Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America, to JA Finance Park. The Scouts participated in our immersive financial literacy program as part of their work toward completing the Personal Management Merit Badge.
Throughout the day, Scouts stepped into real-world scenarios that challenged them to make decisions about budgeting, saving, and managing household expenses. This hands-on experience not only supported their merit badge requirements but also gave them practical tools they can carry into adulthood.
We were thrilled to host the Boy Scouts for this engaging session and hope they left with a stronger foundation in key financial concepts that will serve them for a lifetime.
