Unprecedented Success at the 24th Annual Crescent City Corporate Championship Golf Tournament

The greens of Beau Chene Country Club witnessed a spectacular day of golf and goodwill on Friday, October 27, 2023, as Blessey Marine Services, Inc. hosted the 24th annual Crescent City Corporate Championship Golf Tournament. Presented by Blessey Charities, Inc., AccuTrans, Inc., and New Orleans CityBusiness, and generously sponsored by Southwest Shipyard, LP this event achieved remarkable success, raising a record, $245,000, for Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans!

As we reflect on the accomplishments of this year's tournament, it's hard to believe that it all began in October 2000, when the inaugural Crescent City Corporate Championship took its first swing, raising $40,000 for JA. Fast forward to 2023, and the event has grown into a premier golfing extravaganza, marking 24 years of enthusiasm, camaraderie, and charitable impact.

What truly sets this tournament apart is its commitment to giving back to the community. Since its inception, the Crescent City Corporate Championship has raised an impressive net total of $3.4 million, benefiting Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans work to make a tangible difference in the lives of countless young people, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
