The Distribution Center is just one of 14 businesses within the 10,000 square foot JA BizTown.  The Distribution Center’s primary purposes are to deliver packages of resources to each business, to assemble the packages for the next business day and to conduct inventory.

Key Features:

Resource Distribution: Delivery agents deliver important packages of resources that businesses will use throughout the day.

Resource Packaging involves workers visiting the warehouse with a list of supplies needed by each business for the next business day.

Inventory is very important considering that there are more than 100 items needed to operate JA BizTown.

Human Resources:

CEO – the boss; must manage employees and the company to pay back a business loan and earn a profit

CFO – handles paying bills, trips to the bank and all accounting

Distributors –prepare vital supplies for other businesses and conduct inventory

Capital Resources:

Storage units, filing cabinets, plastic shelving, computer, printer, delivery baskets, push cart, etc.
