General Information

Junior Achievement’s Junior League Training Center is a state of the art meeting and training facility on the Delgado Community College City Park Campus.

The Training Center can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people (depending on seating configuration). It offers the latest in audiovisual and computer technology including videoconferencing.

Limited off street parking is available.

Available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Extended hours and weekends are available at premium pricing. Please call for details.

Pricing
Standard room charges are as follow:

Full day      $250
(8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Half day      $125
(8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 12—5 p.m.)
Early start (7 a.m.) add $125
Late end (up to 7 p.m.) add $125

Other
Videoconferencing: $50/hr
Any/all Audiovisual all day usage $100

Qualifying nonprofit organizations receive a 50% discount on room use charge.

 

Catering

Catering is available through JA’s preferred caterers.

Several pre-arranged menus are available ranging from boxed lunches and reception style finger foods to full buffets. Customized selections are also available.

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement is passionate people inspiring kids to learn the economics of life through free enterprise education. JA enables caring adults to share their experiences with students to show them what it takes to be successful.

JA business and economics programs are for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The dynamic interaction between the volunteer and the students promotes active learning and brings theory to life.

Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.

JA BizTown

JA BizTown is a facility and a program located at Junior Achievement on the Delgado Community College City Park Campus.  The facility is a $2.1 million 10,000 square foot kid-sized city that includes a bank, city hall, post office and 12 other business and retail shops where kids learn by doing.

JA BizTown allows 5th and 6th graders to learn about and operate their own city.  The program involves students in a focused hands-on learning experience along with significant in class preparation.
