The Blood Center is just one of 14 businesses within the 10,000 square foot JA BizTown. The Blood Center’s primary purposes are to collect blood donations, provide health screenings and promote exercise and stress reduction.

Key Features:

Health Equipment includes a blood pressure gauge, a weight scale, and a height measuring station

Fitness Equipment includes a stationary bike and weight training

Hand-Held Back Massages are all the rage for young people who needs to release the stress and tension they have built up on their first day of real-life work

Blood Donations are accepted and when complete, citizens receive an arm bandage of their favorite color, a snack, a donation sticker, and information about when they can really donate blood when they are older

Human Resources:

CEO – the boss; must manage employees and the company to pay back a business loan and earn a profit

CFO – handles paying bills, trips to the bank and all accounting

Health Advisors – collect blood donations, handle the health and fitness equipment, interact with customers and accept payments for goods and services rendered

Capital Resources:

Weight training equipment, stationary bike, scale, height measuring station, blood pressure gauge, back massage device, blood donation chair, model skeleton, I.V. drip, etc.
