Junior Achievement wants to provide your afterschool or summer camp with curriculum and materials concerning financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness. Our core purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Our Families®

- 5, 45 minute activities
Our Families emphasizes the roles people play in the local economy and engages students with activities about needs, wants, jobs, tools and skills, and interdependence.

JA Dollars and $ense™
- Grades 3-5
- 6, 60 minute activities
JA Dollars and $ense teaches students about earning, spending, sharing, and saving money, and businesses they can start or jobs they can perform to earn money.

JA It’s My Business!™
- Grades 6-8
- 6, 60 minute activities
JA It’s My Business! emphasizes entrepreneurship while providing a strong focus on social studies, reading, and writing skills. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.

JA Careers with a Purpose™
- Grades 9-12
- 7, 45 minute activities
How can ethical positive values, life maxims, and decision-making skills help people make career and life decisions? Can people make career choices in terms of their individual noble purpose? How? Through hands-on classroom activities and local, regional, and global essay competitions, JA Careers with a Purpose introduces students to the importance of seeking careers that help them realize their life potential and noble purpose.

How to Get Started
Use the registration process below to sign up for an afterschool or summer enrichment program:
- Explanatory Meeting – JA can provide a staff member to introduce our variety of programs and answer any questions that may arise. (30 minutes)
- Registration Paperwork – click here to register.
- Orientation/Training for Staff – A JA staff member will provide a training session that will familiarize your staff with the programs selected. (45 minutes)
- Program Implementation – (time varies)
- Verification and Evaluation– JA will verify that the activities have been completed. Verification and evaluation takes place via email, phone, fax, or mail.
- Leftover Material Pickup – JA will pick up any materials that are leftover from your sessions.
